When Mumbai Masalaa approached me, they had a clear vision: bold, minimal, and unique. They wanted a branding style that reflected the vibrant flavours of Mumbai cuisine while embracing the coastal heritage of Mangalore.
The challenge?
To keep everything in black and white, a departure from traditional colourful food branding.
I took this challenge head-on, crafting a visual identity that speaks through intricate sketches and doodles, blending the bustling streets of Mumbai with the serene coastal vibes of Mangalore. From hand-drawn fish motifs to lively cityscapes, each element was designed to tell a story of taste, tradition, and nostalgia.
